Welcome to a New Year!

Gold Rush's Art program seeks to engage learners through art-making knowing that while not all students will grow up to earn a living in art, all students can benefit from the process of creating and reflecting on art, understanding and applying elements and principles of visual communication, exposure to historical and cultural art, and participating in artistic behaviors. The art room is a safe place to explore, invent, try new things, and build confidence. Most of all, it's fun! Students have plenty of choice based on their individual needs and interests and are exposed to a wide variety of relevant learning opportunities.

Please see the About Me page if you would like to know a little about me.
Please see the Curriculum page if you would like to know more about programming goals.

I'm looking forward to a year filled with creativity, rich learning, and connections!

Please don't hesitate to contact me throughout the year!
